Greg Damico is a philosophy instructor at Bellevue College. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy from UC Davis and a M.S. in applied mathematics from UW. He is interested in bringing the power of data and technology to bear on human issues, especially in contexts of health and education. His most recent work includes “Projecting and Exploring U.S. Mortality from Major Diseases”, a data project about modeling states’ disease mortality rates and “International Demographic”, a pedagogically oriented collection of charts and maps about the languages and religions of the world. Greg is also a GRE and SAT instructor for Xceptional Prep and a sometime tutor in various subjects.
